My name is Set Sekkhapirath. I am currently an English teacher at Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) and Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) and I am also a semester-three-MA Teaching English to Speakers of
Other Languages (TESOL) student at Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL). Educationally, I completed my Bachelor Degree of Arts in Education, majoring in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC) in 2015. I completed my English Diploma which was Intensive English for Academic Purposes at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia PUC in 2010 before I started my bachelor degree at PUC. In addition, I completed a six-month short course about Methodology Training Course for Private School Teacher of English at National Institute of Education (NIE) in 2014.
Beside my
academic professional, I have some extracurricular activities which they have
provided me with opportunities for community service work. During my first year
in college, I participated in PASS (Paññāsāstra Student Senate) which I
could involve in both on-campus and off-campus activities. In addition, in
2012, I joined PUC Legal Clinic which I learned
Cambodian basic laws, and I share those knowledge to Students at an
organization and people at remote area. I learned from my volunteering work
through practice because at school I learn mostly the theories.
I like
reading books, listening world via radios, watching world news via televisions,
and surfing new technology on internet.
